Wrath of the Lunch King

I wouldn't say I'm hooked, but I can say I really enjoy it.
I too tried World of Warcraft a few months ago and am still playing it.

As a person who enjoys playing games much as I do making them, I have a passion for good games and this was one of them.

Thursday was the day the stores opened up and prepared to sell the regular games as well as the infamous collectors editions, which I am now the proud owner of.
Thanks to friend Steve, I too was blessed with one of these huge cases filled with art, music, goodies and of course.. the game.

But when I booted the game and played for a while on my newly created Death Knight, I realised, I couldn't yet venture onto the vast plains and mountains of Northrend (the new continent), but had to wait till I was lvl 70. Obviously, it's possible for anyone to enter the continent, but actually questing is prohibited if you're not 70. Or I believe it's 68.
Still, excited as I was, I still went and realised why it's better to go there if you're lvl 70. Apart from the asskicking and ganking Hordes, the continent looks stunning. Blizzard really knows how to shape and create worlds.

This is one of those games you thank your weekend for.
Another of those games is Gears of War 2. Everything that part 1 didn't do, part 2 does. Or at least so far as I've played. I'm halfway I recon, but so far, I've seen my share of gore and sick shit that I wished would be there when part 1 came out. The sickest (and right away the coolest) thing I witnessned was the Delta squad taking their chainsaws to cut through the insides of a worm.
It was so awesomely done, you could also see the blood sticking to your armored suit.

What's not good about it is that Epic's idea of a difficulty-setting is increasing the damage done by enemies. Their idea of hard is Marcus Phoenix being a pussy. I lost count after I died so many times for shots in the arm, it's insane.
But I'm not playing on *that* setting, because that's a co-op setting only.

Tomorrow the weekend is over and I'm gonna continue on the groupproject, which is only a few more weeks to go.
With the current establishment, I have no idea what the result will be. I promised myself I wouldn't worry to much about it. That's why I'm not gonna do that and instead, focus on the times after school and my weekend...

Totally! Why the hell should I wait 90 minutes to play a game?
And why should we have to move server? Why can't those ganking hordes go? :P
