Search for Love
13 February 2008
This logo was for a Queensday-conceptgame I did for MediaMonks. It was one of the concepts we pitched. This concept wasn't chosen, but the customer did like the concept. In theory, it was basically a game where you would have to find your partner in a crowd kinda like "Where is Waldo".
GamersAvenue.net
9 January 2008
A good friend of mine, Bram, was making a website for GamersAvenue.net and he needed some help with designing a logo. Because he had helped me quite a few times pro-bono, I did this little thing for him!
2007
MickM.com logo v3.0
7 October 2007
Because I grew tired of my old logo and I wanted something easier to print and enlarge, I opted for a much more simple approach and went for a two-color logo with my name much easier to read. The grafitti also didn't suit me and since I'm comical and artey, the new font is as well!
Strasters.nl
21 April 2007
During my time as an employee at McDonald's, one of my managers wanted me to design his personal website. This site would feature things such as family-pictures, photo's of his car-collection and his own blog. For such a personal website, he didn't demand much but the logo to be playfull and jolly, just like him!
Windmill
13 April 2007
Together with friend and classmate Jeroen Stout, we had to make a game with no visuals for a schoolproject. The assignment was to make sure the game was playable by blind people. We made a game where you were dropped in the woods and being chased by vicious creatures. You're only way of survival was to reach a cabin hidden in the woods. This cabin can be found by following the sound of the windmill next to it. As a player, you had to run through the woods, but because you were stressed and affraid, you could only hear the windmill and the predators when you stopped running.
Shizuka - Dave
27 March 2007
A friend of mine, Dave, who is also studying Gamedesign, wants to be a Sounddesigner. Well, he already is. And a great one. Because he wanted to apply for a job and he told me that he wasn't that skilled with graphics, he asked me to design his website and logo. Since his nickname is Shizuka, he wanted something oriental and stylish, just like samurai. HAIJAAH!
Blind Bat Pokerhouses
26 March 2007
For a schoolproject where we had to invent a brand, I created this logo with subtitle. Our company was called Blind Bat and was supposed to build special pokerhouses around Holland that would provide better and cheaper service than the casino's. The subtitle reads "Enjoy but with buddies". When you remove the N, it reads "Enjoy, but with care". The joke's much cooler in Dutch...
Milkshake
29 February 2007
I thought of the idea for this logo when I was going home thinking of how much I would like to have a milkshake. I used this gluttony as inspiration and created this logo in Adobe Illustrator. Although this logo has been requested by many people, it still remains owner-less. The people I turned down either wanted it for free, or offered me too little.

Cygnus
23 January 2007
Cygnus, a gameconcept I wrote together with friend and classmate Jeroen Stout, was never finished. We still hope to finish it whenever we have the time for this. This game would be an inspiration of Grim Fandango, Psychonauts and Beyond Good and Evil. In the game you play Cygnus, a autistic secret-agent with a dangerous A.I.-partner.
Secret Identity
16 January 2007
For a school-assignment where we had to shoot a movie, a few friends and me dressed up as superheroes to make a superheromovie called Secret Identity. The funny movie featured my friends Roy de Groot, Dave van Luttervelt and Paul Veer.
2006
MOTOR
20 December 2006
A forum deticated to repairing vehicles wanted a fancy cartooney, yet industrial logo. I think it turned out a quite nice mixture of both! The Flash-version of the logo has animated gears.
TvBoy
20 October 2006
TvBoy was a 2D platform-game we made for a Nintendo handheld. Sadly, we did not have the tools and options to actually let it work on a handheld, so we chose to run it on a pc. TvBoy is a game similair to other platformers where your goal is to finish the game using the special powers of the protagonist. Read more about this project on the projects-page.
DJ PeterV
4 October 2006
I made this logo as a conceptual proposal for Dutch DJ PeterV. He liked the logo, but his manager had other plans with the website which led to me not being hired for the job. Too bad...
Bodilies
30 September 2006
This is the logo of one of the games I helped create, Bodilies. Move on over to the projects-page to read more about this game. The shape in the O of Bodilies is the national banner of the Bodilies. It sybolises the two-faced society and the horrible difference between people.

Tuts4You
31 July 2006
I made this logo for a fellow webmaster who owned tuts4you.com. He didn't want a logo, but was looking for some tactical appraisel, but instead I made him a logo. In my opinion it was better than his first. Sadly, he did not purchase the logo.

29 June 2006
Tama Mari was a puzzlegame for a schoolproject. It was your task to rotate the level and shoot your player to the finish using the gravity of every level. Read more about this project on the projects-page.

11 June 2006
After working on the website HQ-Overview, the coder of that site asked me if I could design a logo for his clan, Funky Fighters. He wanted the logo to be a soldier-award. It kinda looks like that now :)
HaloLife
4 June 2006
I made this logo for HaloLife, a fansite for the Halo-games. I made this logo together with 3 others and the client did not pick this one. I found the nicest of the all. I did not agree with the client's choice, but it's not my place to judge :) Customer is always king!
Houda
30 April 2006
An old classmate of mine asked me to make her a logo that would personify her work. She liked the colors red and orange and painted a lot. That's why I chose for a logo that had these elelements in it. Sadly, she rejected the assignment for unknown reasons...
Total Chaos
3 April 2006
I'm not sure what the website Total Chaos was for. I seem to have no record of it. By judging at the logo and the overall style of the website, I'd say it's something urban and involving grafitti. I do know that the client was more than pleased!
Viping.nl
8 March 2006
Viping was, and still is, a Dutch news-website related to news and reviews of all sorts of media. When the owner started this company, he wanted me to design the website and the logo. Sadly for me, the sites underwent a style-change and they have a new logo now.
ExnuX
1 March 2006
An old friend of mine Lex Verheesen, had a profile-page on a site similair to MySpace. For this, and some other things, he wanted a logo. Because he was my best friend back then and he helped me out with lots of things, I could not NOT do this. He wanted a dark and synister logo with roses to show his sweet side, yet surrounded by sharp thorns and blackness.

Kiwi Designs
14 August 2005
Back in 2005, my friend, Lex Verheesen, and I wanted to start a webdesigncompany called Kiwi Designs. The name came from our shared love for the color green and the fruit itself. Sadly, because Lex was very busy with personal stuff, we never got it off the ground...

Gaming Expo was supposed to be a website deticated to games, game-reviews and gamevideos. It was supposed to get bigger and better than famous sites like Gamespot and Gametrailers. Sadly, the owner closed the site down after a month or two...
DJ Falesco
31 May 2005
This was actually the first logo I ever made for a client other then myself. Also right away the first rookie-mistake I made. By giving the client the product before the payment, the client succeeded in obtaining the product without paying for it. Painfull to endure, but really a good lesson if you look at it afterwards.
2004
GameRevs.nl
8 December 2004
This is my second logo I ever made. It was used for the Dutch site GameRevs.nl where, together with a whole bunch of schoolmates, I would post gamereviews. The site stopped after a while because 90% of the authors didn't want to continue.
Volleybill
29 November 2004
A Canadian volleyball-team called Volleybill asked me to design them a fancy purple logo. Purple because it was a women's team and they're color was purple and they wanted a neon-approach because they really liked the 80's style.
MickM.com logo v1.0
3 September 2004
This was the first logo I made for myself. Since my last name is Moolhuijsen, I chose for the nickname MickM. This logo had 2 M's in a funny way written, in my favorite color, green.
